Need some help o2 sensor extension adapter?!
Has any one done this on their IS? http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f89/do...4/#post6787210 I continuously kept getting code P0430, i have an invidia mid pipe. So i removed it along with my tanabe exhaust and put my stock one back on to take it to the dealership to get a new cat under federal warranty since thats what the P0430 code means. Needless to say the dealer came up with some bs excuse of my car being too low and it seemed like there was some damage to my stock exhaust from scraping so they wouldn't cover it for me. Either way the P0430 code disappeared afterwards which now leads me to believe it couldve been caused by the midpipe. I called invidia and they guy recommended i do the fix that i linked above and it would fix my problem.
Im not sure if i need to do this on both sides or just the one thats throwing the code? Any help would be appreciated!

I have heard of it, and that it works, but never done it myself. I was lucky not to have any "check engine" light issues after adding my Invidia. I would make sure you have enough room to use them first though. I remember mine being pretty close to the frame rails when I removed them (socket and rachet barely fit). They do make crows foot 02 sensor sockets which would probably help. I just don't remember if the Invidia pipes pulled the sensor away from the frame or not.
