Exclamation M2 Exhaust HELLLLP!!!!!!

So recently i started thinking about getting an exhaust. I dont have a really big budget so i looked online and many people have the M2 exhaust for their 2IS, my main concern is will my car be passing smog in CA with that exhaust. Im not looking for performance but just the sound and the look.

One more question, has anyone done a JDM turn signal on their fender, I really like how it looks and makes the car unique a bit.

The m2 is an axle back system. It does not affect your emissions.

you can smog with no problem.

IllMike used to have them (shown with both his paint jobs). They're not that expensive but you have to drill into the fenders. Gotta love his license plate!!

Yup that's a nice plate. A buddy of mine told me that drilling doesn't effect paint if you put a piece of tape over the spot being drilled is that true?

He's right. Just measure and make sure both sides are the same. I had them done on a couple of my Honda/Acura.

It's a good cheap exhaust. Looks good and sounds good.

Why not get a used "good" exhaust?

Yeah. Recently, its certainly gotten up to those prices. But at $300, it's still cheaper than Tanabe and most of the other brand named exhausts.

What's a nice used exhaust i can get for $300 or less im not about to spend thousands of dollars on mods, as i am planning on selling this car. Then i have to ge through the hassle of removing the mods and putting stock parts back on and not being able to get even half my money back. Im looking to get myself a GS class anyways.

Just for example, exhausts have been posted for 400-450 in classified
when you sell it you can get 300 back no problem

and you really gotta hear them in person, youtube doesn't really do any justice
