Default 2011 Headlight Bulbs, went to Lexus today

(Bay Ridge Lexus in Brooklyn NY) So I stopped by the dealership today...at first the tech tells me a lexus inspector comes once a month and I should stop by when that happens...So ofcourse I remind him that there is a TSB for the bubbling defect so he ofcourse goes and talks to some other people. Then he comes out and tells me that he will order the light housings but will do it only this once because I have the Phillips Ultinion bulbs in there and he feels that the heat they generate caused this issue. Ofcourse I go back to him and tell me that there is a TSB because enough people had this issue and not everyone had the Phillips Ultinon bulbs..He said it doesnt matter.

So I have to wait a few weeks until he gets the head lights and he will call me...

How do I know if he is putting in the most recent version of the housings as appose to the original my2011 headlights

The new head lights have eyebrows around the top outer corners (they look wavy) You can also ask them to make sure they install updated lights. You can get the part numbers at Sewell parts.

You will also notice the LED is more of a cool white instead of a warm white

So I guess they still haven't resolved the bubbling issue even on the 2012 headlights? Bummer. I haven't had the TSB done yet but I think I might just get go ahead and get it done soon though since I'm tired of waiting.

I went to lexus of bellevue last weekend and showed them the bubbling on my drivers side light only. They are gonna perform the tsb after I had to tell them about it. Lights are on order.

so I'm guessing that if you have a 07 is350 with the 2011 led headlights with the bubbling incident the dealer won't cover that?

you will notice the eyebrows as they all have said and the difference in color in the LED...however let me pre-warn you that there have been instances with the 2012 lights having the bubbling issue as well..

So I had my TSB lights replaced from the bubbling and Lexus brought back the lights without the eyebrows supposedly. The LED looks to be the old LED which sucks now. :/ warm white LEDs. Guess I will see how long it takes for these ones to start bubbling.
