Default Flat bottom and FLAT TOP IS"x" steering wheel

I figured since my last thread was very "controversial" on the flat bottom NO TOP steering wheel (pictured below), that this thread should be just as entertaining to read the negative comments.

Now with that said, my old steering wheel is gone but not forgotten. I miss it. Terribly. I sold it to a gent in CA back when I thought I was selling the car and thus parting out.
Since then, I have changed my mind back and forth on what to do for my next steering wheel... I can't do the SAME thing, there is already someone on these boards with my old steering wheel. I wanted to start the process on building something new. Do a carbon fiber top with bottom? No, a guy on this forum has that. Perhaps carbon fiber sides with leather top and bottom? No, cause I don't like CF and even if I did nothing in my interior is CF.
So the idea came from a buddy of mine that owns a GTR and has made a flat TOP flat bottom steering wheel. (Pictured below).
Thus begins the building process of the first IS"x" to have a flat top & flat bottom steering wheel. I didn't get crazy with stitching. Just black stitching. And the leather is all black with perforated sides. So nothing too fancy. I left it open for the next person, should it happen, to have a flat top and flat bottom carbon fiber steering wheel.

Is this functional? No, but neither are drilled rotors.
P.S. Thanks goes out to "J" in CA for originally hookin me up with his source. You know who you are.

MY OLD STEERING WHEEL

As promised. The 3rd picture below shows the new steering wheel on top of the old OEM factory wheel.
