Does the cooling mist kit provide all the extra fueling (meth)? Or Can the oem ecu provide enough fueling with out the need for the cooling mist kit?

This is all I've got. It was @ 4.5psi.

I was sitting half a car back and floored it from about 40 MPH.

The reason there's no exhaust sound is because I let off right after the window to try and catch the BOV, but missed it. You can see it in the suspension if you look close. S/C sounds nice though.

Question: How do you guys feel about the 12.3 AFR? How much more room do you guys think I have for improvement? If i get the belt to stick and its around 8psi, what do you guys think about leaving it? Mike and I had this discussion earlier. If I leave it, I'll probably invest in a wideband gauge.

What the water/meth injection does is raise the effective octane of the fuel used. IE, bringing it closer to race fuel. This prevents detonation or 'knock' at leaner AFRs and higher compression. It also cools the charge temperature due to the specific heat of water being so high. 'Specific heat' is basically the capacity of a molecule to absorb heat without becoming warmer itself, relatively speaking.

12.3 isn't bad and is pretty safe at this point. So some things that need to be considered.

1) You can't pull timing
2) @ 8lbs you'll be running 13.3 AFR which is too lean for boost. You'll lose WTQ most likely
3) Roterx compressors don't like pulley change's. It throws off the compressor map badly.

Here are some links that will help you.

GTM motoring can redo the compressor fins and allow for more boost with a smaller pulley. Call and talk to them.
You'll learn alot about that compressor you have.

http://www.gtmpower.com/

Go to this website and get a HKS F-conIS: http://1jzmerc.com/hks-faq/hardware/f-con-iS

I helped these guy's with mapping the F-Con and they will provide you with a jumper harness for the IS350.
I can send you a MAP.dat file once you get it that will get you to 350WHP on less boost safely

Once your there you'll have everything you need to push the limits.

I also like the add-on crank pulley setup with this as well. The I/C piping is tweaked a bit as well and the FMIC core seems to be a great fit. Meth, meth and more meth!

The quality in Rotrex seems to be very top notch! Def glad to see this come together and looking forward to the next few months!!

Meh, I just dumped about 15K into this S2K I bought about 3 month's ago.
Going full J's racing widebody, turbo, track worthy etc....

So the IS is done for now. My wife is going to shows and track days with it but I'm not going to mod it much more.

So, What do you think is the leanest safe AFR? The plan now is to get the belt to stick solid with an slightly larger pulley, and pull the same numbers.

To think, this started out as going for the cheapest safe boost kit. The goal was 40whp gain. Now I'm looking at 100wph gains.

Yea, I always have known this is a beastly mod but couldn't talk anyone into it on CL.

I'd say 12.5 AFR.

You'll overheat the plugs and there's not any options with cooler plug's.
Also 12.5 is where you'll get the most WTQ, any higher and TQ drops off. You'll might make a small gain in WHP at 13.0 but it will feel flat through the powerband.

So your right there. Just get the belt issue worked out.

The HKS supercharger kit runs (2) two idler pulley's. You may have to add another one somehwere on the bracket close to the S/C
