Default just traded my 2008 IS for a 2008 LS 460 (whooo hooo)

i traded my is 250 to mcgrath lexus of chicago, got a great trade in value and i kept my 2nd fly audio unit with primo 9, kept my lexani rims and took out the entire souynd system and reinstalled the oem navi, left the F-sport exhaust and lowering springs. they gave me 24,000 for my is and transfered my extended warranty to the LS, saved a ton on sales taxes and got a lower finance rate (was 2.65 down to 1.99). my LS has 66,000 miles and warranteed till 125,000 miles bumper to bumper. i got the fully loaded silver with black interrior LS with mark levinson. im gonna add the ivic android adaptor next! pics comming later.

i will post in the classifieds the stuff i took off the IS and see if any of you local or non locxal members want to get a great deal on a few things.

only defect on car was a scuff mark below the lower right rear pass door, other than that its clean in and out, 66,000 miles CPO, with a extended bumper to bumper warrranty up to 125k miles, i transfered my warranty from the IS. too bad my IS rims wont fit the LS

do they make ls rain guards like the ones for the Is, the flat ones?

THE IS BACK TO STOCK ON F-SPORT SPRINGS LOL...

Oh man, the LS is one of those cars that isn't my cup of tea but I totally understand why other people like them. Nice!

why do you say good luck with the maintenance? it is just oil changes i would guess? am i wrong? i have it under warranty till 125,000 miles best warranty lexus has! i used to pay 64 for an oil change for the IS at the dealer, how much more can this one be,espically if i bring in my own oil. just asking thats all.

From entry level to flag ship! Awesome upgrade! I know you'll enjoy it. What do you have planned for this car?

not a whole lot like my IS had, but here is what i am doing.

1. ivic android intergration
2 .silver or black carbon fiber vinyl wrap over all of the woodgrain in the interrior!
3. l.e.d lighting under the footwell areas, front and under rear of drivers/pass seats, lights will change 6 colors via seperate switches ( switches hidden of course)
4. weathertech floor liners
5. weathertech rds (in chanel, or the ones like the IS had , if they make them)
6 . 20" or 22" rims probably some vossen this time!
7. viper 5904, with smartstart and gps, with window roll up/down via remote and smartstart which i will do myself cause thats what i do for a living, i own a car audio/alarm shop.
8. 40%window tint all over except front windshield.
9. just add 2 12" subs and a 2000.1 MMATS amp to power them (stuff i took out the IS)
but i will leave the mark lev system alone! and only add more bass.
10.nav/dvd overide.

so far thats all i can think of, i have some things in the CL classifieds like a 2nd gen flyaudio unit for sale and my old rims 20
'n lexani LSS-10 w/tire and sensors that i am trying to sell so i can put that money towards the ivic module, alarm, rain guards.

everything else i already have in my shop, ready to install, like l.e.d lighting, black carbon fiber vinyl
to cover woodgrain, s12" subs and amps. window tint is free for me cause my friend tints out of my shop and i dont charge him rent, nor do i profit from tints, i just need the new rims and ivic unit.
no big deal, ill have all that done in 1 week or less guaranteed! cause im such an impatient person, i like to get it done asap!

tomorrow ill tint the car and wrap the woodgrain, if im not busy installing my customers remote starts, (they do come first obviously, otherwise i would not be be in business if i played with my car all dy everyday)

and if i dont get the carbon wrap done, ill do it after closing and break nite!....lol YES IT IS TRUE, I DO THAT ! ITS 3:13 AM NOW LOL...JUST GOT CAR TODAY AND CANT SLEEP!.

GOODNITE! TTYL.

congrats on the upgrade. i love what you have planned for the car, minus the the carbon fiber wrap. i'd show off the luxury of that woodgrain.
