Default Passenger door cold-weather squeak, help!

Don't know where exactly, but somewhere near the front of the passenger door where it meets the dash I'm getting a very obnoxious squeak (not rattle) over jarring bumps and ruts. Only happens when car is cold or it's very cold out. My passenger door has been worked on so many times (leather, window motor, other noises), this could have been man-made (dealer-made).
I'd appreciate any hints. One of these days I'm going to have to dig in and work on it since the rest of the car is completely quiet and I'm not willing to throw up the white flag just yet.
TIA
