Talking Install Mesh Grill

I have a 2008 IS250 and don't like chrome at all so I just bought this grill from ebay check it out. I'm thinking about blacking the chrome out to match the new grill.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170852885569...84.m1439.l2649

My question is how do I go about installing it the easiest way please excuse the question for all you pro's out their. I'm used to working on car and I'm sure I would figure it out but I thought it would ask first. I don't want to break something that I will have to replace later. Has anyone ever installed this before and how? Pictures would be great.

to install the grill.. direction is as follows..

- pop the hood
- pull the rubber weather stripping off.. they are held down with a bunch of plastic plugs.. if the plugs come apart from the weather stripping its ok.. just take a pair of needle nose plyers pull them out of the hole on the car.. youll see little holes on the weather stripping.. stick one side of the T bar and strech the rubber until the other side goes in.
- unscrew the center hex bolt
- pop off any plastic screws u see holding down the grill.. to take the plastic screws out.. take ur fingernail and pull the center up.. then pull the whole screw out.
- slide out the chrome trim.. then slide out the grill..
- reverse the process to put it back together..

hope this helps

Is that the matching lower grille you have as well? Also, if I have a black pearl emblem, would I just lay that with the doubled sided tape on top of the L that this grille comes with?

What's that little thing that sticks out from both your bumper top edges to the fender?

More pics of your car? Looks good.

Is there 2 separate ISF grilles, one that can have the emblem removed and the other you cant?
That's what it looks like from the eBay pictures

Is it difficult to remove the emblem from the holder? Will it come out clean/reusable?

I believe it might be possible, but it's probably best just to buy another off Ebay for $15 or whatever the price may be.
