Default Aluminum Sport Pedals, how much of a difference?

I've been looking at Sewell's Black Friday deals and the aluminum pedals look like a great deal! My question is, how much of a difference does it really make? I feel like my pedals now are somewhat lame and unresponsive almost. Plus, they look dull. Also, how difficult of an install is it? I'm plenty competent around cars, I can just be kinda lazy Thanks in advance!

hey, I believe the sports pedal doesn't do anything. It's just for the sporty look only. Installation shouldn't be to difficult, watch the video tht Sewell has and it should guide you through it

pedals do not change anything but aesthetics. easy to install. if you dont feel mechanically inclined, the dealership will charge half an hour of labor but would only take prob 10 mins to do.

They do not do anything for the performance... They just make the interior of the car look 110% better.

They are just for looks. If they didn't look so good compared to the stock ones, I wouldn't have gotten them. What I really hate about these pedals is that if you shoe is wet, your foot might slip off the pedal. It's happened to me so many times.

I tried to install it myself. The foot rest and brake were really easy but the gas pedal, the two bolts were a b**** to reach if you don't have the right tools. I couldn't do it but since I work at a car dealer, a tech there installed it under 5 minutes lol.

If you have a manual transmission the wider gas pedal helps with heel/toe quite a bit. Other than that it's mostly a cosmetic thing.

Yeah, I have a 6MT so that actually would be quite beneficial. For the price, it's hard not to pass this up. Haha.

lame because it's ugly.........i hate it too
unresponsive because you probably drive a 250

the sport pedals just change the surface you step on, nothing else...it's not a throttle controller

Yeah, I figured that out after I read the description.
Yeah, unresponsive probably comes from my former car being an E46 M3 that I always had in sport mode. Hahaha.
