Well if you're going to paint the caliper like a bright yellow or red or whatever then you might as well slap those covers on. It attracts just as much attention. It's just that it terms of safety, painting might be safer than using those covers.

The way I see it, if you paint your calipers, you're the guy who paints his small calipers just for the look. If you use the caliper covers, you're the guy who pretends that his car has something that it doesn't. You decide what you're happy with in the end.

That's just my personal opinion though.

Absolutely not! You may as well be shopping for "turbo" stick on emblems at the same time. Either it's legit or it's not. Plain and simple. I wish I had a bbk, but would never "fake" a bbk.

Find something else to use them for creatively, like on a living room table or something. There is no place on your car where those should be used.
