Default IS250 1/4 mile drag result

Just came back from the Sonoma Raceway in NorCal and did some drag racing on my 08 IS250.
Here is the specs for my car:

F sport intake
F sport sway bar
H&R Springs
anything else are stock
(:

I didn't use the 100 octane racing gasoline just the 91 octane gas.
and of course I keep my car as light as possible, like w/o the spare tire in the trunk etc lol

Here are the 4 runs record I got.

1. R/T : .483 1/4: 16.060 MPH : 86.90
2. R/T : .353 1/4: 16.007 MPH : 87.02
3. R/T : .443 1/4: 16.151 MPH : 87.37
4. R/T : .335 1/4: 16.201 MPH: 88.02

The first two times were practicing and the last two are limitation.
I did bad on the last one cuz I forgot to turn off the TRAC and the VSC... damn!

and here is the factory 1/4 Mile record on the 08 IS250:
R/T : .296 1/4: 15.945 MPH: 87.31

fairly close to that record. If I get better reaction time I'm sure gonna beat that ******.
When I get more mods on the engine and so. I'll come again for sure with the mods and let you guys know how our IS250 works.
BTW, nice to seeing other member there with the 08 black IS250 wald front, 7 fins? diffuser, and wrapped black ISF tails.

And I was about to put some videos on here but too bad my dash cam was not recording.... LMF

Your reaction time will not affect your end 1/4mi time.

The weather is way too hot still for drag racing. It was lik 90 degrees yesterday. Wait till the temperature settles.

Let me know the next time you head down there. I want to see if my runs improve with stock 18 wheels

How not? To be extreme, if you waited 1s before making the exact same run, won't it be 1s slower? Unless the timer starts when you start moving which would be wimp.

I wonder why it does not effect too? Isn't the reaction time is add up to ur 1/4 time? Let see what u say.

Wouldn't make a difference you could wait 10 minutes but timer doesn't run until you cross the beams. RT only matters when running somebody. Lets say you both run 16@90 flat but guy in opposite lane cuts a better light he beats you. Your reaction time was .08 his .05 so he'd beat you by .03.

Thats why you here people say "he beat him on the tree"

True, It was very hot at the first run like 100 degree. And after the second one, the sun was sitting on the skyline. Sure would like to see ur records compare to mine. Sometimes it's different according to who is driving, such as the weight the person has lol JK!

That's what I was thinking at first. People there said it added up.. My mindset was changed.. Now I realized I'm smart but stupid at the same time. Lol

Thanks Gearbangin

RT truly only matters in like a heads up race or a bracket race.
Once your car breaks the STAGE beams the timer begins.
When we go test and tune our customer cars we work on staging and get the trans loaded up right and building the amount of boost we need before leaving the line. We never worry about the other lane or what is going on down there at all.
You can also run a slower time time than your opponent and still beat him if you are good on the "TREE".

This is true. When I had my yellow T-5R Volvo a Honda Civic with some mods linned up with me, jumped the T and I still got a better time than he did. When he seen the tape, he wouldn't even look at me anymore. He had a V-Tech much newer car. LOL

I've been wanting to take my car forever but I never go. We should have a nor cal event at a race track.
