Default is250 awd turbo kit & ecu reflash needs to come !

i have injen intake and megan racing exhaust, gives little power but since i drive a japanese car it needs a turbo or superchager something please !

No offense, but if you bought the 2IS with intentions to mod it for power, then you bought the wrong car.

I can almost guarantee that under the LEXUS name brand you wont find any kind of forced induction cause of their reliability... Now Toyota that might be another story.

That... and if the 250 was too slow you ought have bought a 350, it'd be a lot cheaper than adding forced induction, and add a lot more hp.

This is my first car i got i needed the awd since i live in ny and the price was gud , i could of got a 335i for the same price but they are like ants in long island !

yea found out a week later about tht , ima keep this car when im done paying off for it and i wont buy a next car unless its the gtr !

you don't really need awd in nyc man we didn't even get snow last year and beside good snow tires will cover the AWD tbh... Is350 would had done you better :I

Possible that the 3rd gen IS would be forced induction?

I mean the trend is smaller displacement engine with direct injection and force induction right now. Merc, VW group, BMW, Ford etc...

well i went 2 to diff lexus dealers and no 1 had the is350 , wnt home tht nite and parents was saying its allot for your first so i told them ill tak the one i seen the was 5gs less and thts how i got my baby well this is going to be my daily untill i get the gtr

From what Ive heard, is that there is a chance that the 3IS will have a forced induction engine option but it will be a few years after it is introduced in 2013

I had to read that sentence 3 times to understand what you were trying to say. IS350s are rare in NYC, almost impossible to find.

I have to agree, AWD you do not need since it's just using up your MPG. If you're going up inclines like greater than 15% all day, it's would be justifiable.

A RWD with dedicated tires and you're good to go.
