Default Found a 2011 IS250 with hail damage

Any ballpark figures on what replacement on hood and top panel might run? I have seen the wonders of paintless dent repair but with as much damage as there is and some near adjacent structure, assume would be cost effective to R&R those two panels. No glass damage.

Advice? This car only has 11k on it.

That doesn't look like it will need any replacement panels to me, but a PDR shop would know better.

Yes, understood. Its been awhile since I have had PDR work done but since its all labor sometimes is cheaper to replace the panel. Still need to consider installation and paint work. Need to find good PDR guys here in DFW

This happened to a car of mine several years back, but not nearly as bad as above. I would say PDR was able to make it look 95% original again. Good luck!

Yes, they can do some amazing things. And all things considered is a green solution to painting. Am still on the fence, checking options. Will be good to be back in the Lexus family. I had an SC400 and prob was best car I ever owned. Will be departing from my G35 coupe.

I had hail damage on one of my cars; I made an insurance claim and all I paid was my deductible. May want to look at that option

I should have been more clear in my original post. Car is for sale and isnt my car yet. This damage would qualify as pre-existing conditions. I would have to pay for this out of my pocket if I buy it.

i have been caught in two crazy hail storms before in my 2010 and the funny thing is, not a single dent or scratch was on my car during either incidents...the first time i was on the highway and it starting hailing golf ***** and i was moving for a good 2-3 mins before i got underneath a tunnel and the 2nd time i was on an open highway in the cornfields, it was raining and hailing so bad that i could not see the roads and had to pull over for a good 20 mins and still no hail damage or even the lightest scratch..lucky me =X

Get an estimate for the repair from a PDR place and go from there. $23k is a good price and even with the repairs you will be getting it for much less than if you were to buy it undamaged. It doesn't look like repairs would be that much. My aunt just picked up a 2012 4RUNNER that was hail damaged worse then that and she only paid about $20k! Damages aren't even going to cost her $3k to repair.

Not applicable in this case because OP hasn't bought the car yet. Buying the car with hail damage and then claiming insurance for the repairs would be a big no-no... lol
