Default A little headlight advice....

Been Humoring the idea of either A. Upgrading to the 2011 with the LEDs or B. retrofitting my current ones with the STI-r and wiring in my vaistech v lines inside the headlight.

Option A costs about $1300
Option B costs about $300-400.

Any advice or input anyone can give me with retro fitting headlights.

STI-R?? I know all projectors to do retrofits with and that isn't one of them lol n 2011's look real nice but im one of those function>form, the beam width and output is less then the old ones from what I hear, do the retrofit and use the other $900 toward coilovers

I have been emailing a guy from retrofit source.com seems to be knowledgable about the situation. He recommended it. I had seen another CL member had done a tsx retro. That looked really clean. I'm just trying to expand my field of vision also go for something other than oem. I also wish there was someone locally that could help that has done it before. I'd rather not spend $1200 on the 2011's but I love the look of this LEDs.

Default alternative

Or get Plasmaglow lighting eyes, they retail for 40 but I got them for 12 on ebay. Same concept but they tuck in under the headlight so its really inconspicuous. I alwAys get compliments amd I love them. The picture really doesnt do it justice

^awful idea.

Please don't do option B. that it looks absolutely terrible, and cheap. Whether its sitting on the outside or inside of the housing those led strips just scream auto zone/pepboys.

Goin on 3 months no issues. I have my leds wired to stay bright 100% as well. Output seems clearer than my old headlights. Why would there be moisture issues? Havent heard about anyone bringing that up. If the bubbling issue ever comes up I have no problem with opening my headlights and repaint it. I blacked out my old set already. I turn more heads now than before. Had to sacrifice the AFS but its Best 1100 I've spent on my car. I don't miss it and I'm sure others that have upgraded can agree.

why did you have to sacrifice AFS...i put 2012 in mine earlier this month and my AFS still works...i mean the light flashes in the dash but it still works, the auto-level, also bulb still turns when i turn at certain speeds..and you are correct best mod ever lol
