Opinions please! CF grille surround- yay or nay?
Hey guys
Just wanted some suggestions. I'm planning on covering the chrome grille surround with CF vinyl. After receiving the package in the mail, I'm starting to wonder if the addition of the CF will look a bit misplaced on my car. It's pretty much stock except some vinyl work I've done here and there. Since I haven't had much to compare to, I want to know what you guys think.

Also, would anyone with a BLACK IS that has carbonfiber grille surround post their pic here please? Thanks!

Since you already purchased the cf wrap, I'd say do it and see how you like it. If you end up not liking it, you can always remove the wrap and go back to stock or a different route.
Since your car is black or a dark color, the wrap won't shine thru/be noticeable as it would with a red or white car IMHO. Good luck.

I would say the CF would look a bit out of place, until you get some other mods, like others mentioned - rims, suspension, etc. But you gotta start somewhere. Maybe leave it off until then? I think it would look good on a dropped car with a lip....

Thanks for all the opinions! Yeah I definitely understand where some of you guys are coming from. This is actually the reason why I posted here since I haven't dropped the car or have any wheels or kits, and was afraid it would look weird :P
I guess I'll just go ahead and get it done, especially since I have it and can take it off whenever. I need to put in my new bulbs anyway. I just wish I had the mesh grille instead of the stock. Oh well.
I'll be sure to post here when I get it on- probably in the next week or 2.

Wrap it or replace it (like I did with a cf grille trim) but anything other than the stock grille chrome or whatever is awesome. I don't like the trims that are just body-colored because they make the grille smaller looking.
Going black wrap or cf for the trim looks way better IMO. I know yours is smaller than on the ISF but especially with a black car you can play with wrap and darken so much. Go for it!
