Default Flyer in door

On hot days like today, I like to roll down the windows as soon as I get in my car. Somebody had jammed a flyer into the passenger door window while I was away. I saw the top edge of the flyer as it disappeared into my door. Now that is it in there, how do I get it out? What kind of damage can a piece of cardboard do?

Flyer in door

If moisture gets in then over time rust may occur inside the door panel

But you can easily remove the flyer by taking off the inside door panel and fishing out the flyer…

Removing the door panel is very easy to do (at least for me).

On another note I hate those stupid flyers, I get a whole lot of pleasure when they have just finished putting it on my car and are on the car next to mine. I just flip it up in the air without even reading it and the person gives the face. I give a face

1. Pop out plastic insert in door handle bezel with butter knife. Undo screw that is revealed.

2. Pop out control panel bezel and undo blue-ish screw.

3. Pry door panel off with hands starting at the bottom.

Take pictures, if the place of business you were at as a no soliitation policy ask them for that in writing. Then contact the company who the flyer is for and explain to them that you are sending them a bill for removal of the flyer from your vechicle. Also state that were they placed it was a no solitation zone. Bill them $125.00 per hour of work.

I did this to a couple companies, told them to be more careful of who they hire to pass out flyers. I actually had to take a couple to small claims, and I won.

I had someone do this to my car but it rained and the ink was all over my car.

LaVaism, that is brilliant. I may pursue that route.

The great part about it, when you go before a judge if you go to small claims is everyone hates those fliers so they will likely side with you. Also the place of business might follow your lead and try to charge them for every flier that was placed.

I worked at a night club and some guy was passing out fliers for another bussiness, we charged them $25.00 per flier handed out for advertising cost. We then charged them $10.00 an hour for every employee we had picking up the fliers.

Small claims can be your friend. If you do go that route, let us know how it goes.

Also don't forget compensation for lost hours at work.
