So I'm looking to buy a is350 & the owner says the car has a TRD exhaust that he bought from Lexus for $1400 back in '07. Any info on these exhausts? Searched & couldnt find much info on them...somebody told me that it is pretty much a F-Sport but the owner says it is not loud at all..

It could be a TRD muffler, but I've not seen/read about a TRD branded exhaust setup offered on the 2IS before. Ask for pics!

fsport trd all the same. just different name. if you look at your exhaust already its going to say toyota lol

Looks exactly like a F-Sport to me, and the OP of the thread mentioned that apparently it is a HKS exhaust branded under the TRD name, just like how the F-Sport is a rebranded HKS. Hmm..guess I'll make some video clips when I get the car this weekend..

I am assuming since it was bought in 07 from a Lexus dealer it is most likely a Lexus HKS exhaust.

Officially it was the "Lexus dual sport exhaust by HKS".

Aka "Lexus HKS exhaust"

Ahh, I see..it all makes sense now. Thanks for the replies & link above, looks like Joe Z himself confirmed it as well. I see now why it looked like a F Sport exhaust yet the owner said it was not loud at all. Looks like I already have my first mod done for me

Best sounding exhaust if you like them quiet. Really reminds me of Infiniti G35.
