I also scratched my rims a few weeks after getting the car, but not as bad as OP. I pull into the gate to the parking lot that I have to get the decal out of the center armrest for the card reader to read and try to steer the car as it moves slowly forward -- I was multi-tasking you see. Anyways, I didn't notice the car was going slightly side ways and hit the curb as I go through the gate.

I don't blame myself for the damage, I blame the curb. It has no business sticking out like that; it has no purpose!

Too many mistakes to list. Mostly careless scratches here and there, some on the rims due to the curb, some on the car body due to my own finger nails. When I washed my car I had to tip toed to wipe the roof dry and I had my house keys in my pants pockets and therefore the keys made some very faint scrathes on the door through my pants.........my black car has countless scratches and chips here and there due to many many different reasons.

^This. It's like black cars are attracted to scratches and stuff!
A lot of the mistakes I have are just careless as well! Curbed my rims last Friday but good thing it was only a little scratch. Dings and stuff on front bumper

Buying expensive tires. It discourages me from burning rubber most times

I tried jump starting my car backwards I was in a rush and not really paying attention and it ended up costing me a tow to the dealer and a replacement of the main fuse box. Total damage was ~$550 for towing, the fuse box, a new battery, a couple fuses, and an oil change while I had it there.

Did that happen to you guys with aftermarket wheels/tires or stock wheels/tires?

I know that happened to me on my aftermarket wheels, but I'm worried about it happening on stock wheels/tires and wondering if I should roll the fenders.

My worst was going to a BMW Tuner to get my header installed... Got completely demolished by what they charged me... almost 2x what i paid for the headers themselves.... Never again!
