Default 06 IS350 A/C problem

well guys last week my car was at lexus get recall work done so I didn't drive it much. Picked the car up Friday and left for college saturday. I had a good 3 1/2 hour drive with the A/C blowing on Auto at 72-74 degrees. I get to college and on Sunday my A/C decides to not blow as strong. It started making a noise kind of like a turbo spooling up and when I shut it off sounds like a turbo spooling down. It also get's louder if I open the glove box. Anyone know what this can be? Also I have a very limited tool bucket I brought with me so any pointers will help!

Sounds like the cabin filter wasn't replaced properly. AC has to set to recurculation mode (IIRC), before removing the filter.

Would that happen after working perfectly for so long?

Sounds like it's your AC blower motor needs replacing. But, it wouldn't hurt to inspect the cabin filter first.

Should've just kept the piece of paper on there so it sounds like you have a turbo, haha.
