Default shocks replacement

hi guys, yesterday i was replacing my tires, and found out my front right shock is getting wet, like oil leaking? so i think is time to replace it ? do i have to replace all 4 shocks ? or just front 2? or maybe just the broken one?

I would only replace them in pairs, in this case the front ones. But this is not a spring so you may get away with just replacing that one if it is the same type.

If you're replacing the single shock make sure its an OEM one. An aftermarket one of the same type might have a slightly different damper rate and could feel less comfortable and noticeable.

im thinking replacing a set of f-sport shocks on it ? do i also need to replace the spring ??

ya, my friend told me better to change the front shocks.

Im in a similar situation. My rear pass. side shock is done, my front pass. side is also leaking. Instead of getting new shocks, im thinking of getting a set of coilovers, maybe k2, meagan, or BC's.

Hey KumarBDH, how much with shipping for your shocks? Brand new shocks or how many miles?

Nope, the springs will never need to be replaced. But if you're getting F-sport shocks, you might as well get the F-sport springs to go with it so you can lower your car a bit.

so without changing the spring is ok right ? because i dont really want to lower it. also i found out sewell has lots oem shocks, but im not sure which one fit mine? 07 is250 with 18inch rims, i think is sport package ?

I'm having the same leaking issue with my rear passenger side shock. I called a few mechanics in the area and everyone keeps telling me that it's a dealer item. Is this true?
