08 vs 07 IS350?
First off,
Hello, I'm new to the forums.
I'm looking at getting a used IS350 and read somewhere (don't remember where...) that there were changes made to the 08 model year IS350. Would anyone be able to tell me what these changes were?
Thanks,
Jason

Thank you Kurtz.
I think the main thing I was interested in was the improved steering feel. Do you think that this is a reasonable reason to wait for an 08 rather than an 06 or 07?

I am not sure if I'm comparing apples to apples, but I had an 06 IS250 until yesterday and traded in for an 08 IS350. I'm not sure if the IS250s and IS350s have the same steering setup or not, but the steering wheel on my 08 IS350 feels a lot more responsive than my 06 IS250.

Personally I think 08 is the best year for the 2IS (not just cuz I own one- I think all changes 06-07 and then 07->08 are improvements, but hate most of the visual changes made 09+, hate they dropped the real sport package, and find no functional improvements other than the 10+ nav/entertainment ones)

Only thing I would like for my 08 is the Black Wood trim from the 09+ instead of the Cherry Otherwise, I think 08 has minor advantages as you'd expect over 06-07. The best is to sit in both and if you don't notice the difference then buy whichever one you like.

Thanks guys. This was the kind of information I was looking for. I may go down to test drive an 06 next weekend and then see if I can find an 08 or newer to drive.
Getting pretty stoked that I can finally afford a good car!
