Default Help: Oem cd player not working

2006 IS350 WITH ML 6 DISK
listening to a cd, everything working fine, i change to FM radio, shortly later press the "disc" button, but my screen reads, " no disc" even though there are 6 cds inside.
if i press the eject or load button nothing happens
any ideas on what to do from here?

try disconnecting the battery for 15 mins then reconnecting so the system can reboot. If that doesn't work try checking the 3 fuses that are for audio (look in the manual for their location).

Something similar to this happened to me last week. After I pulled the fuses and put them back in, it was working again. Mine was a little different than yours though because mine could read the CD, but just wan't playing any audio or allowing me to adjust the volume.

I have the exact same problem as peyman has, but with a GS350. Please post if the recommended suggestion by SeanIS350 worked. Many thanks.

hey
those suggestions didnt work
took it to a local shop, the audio tech thought a cd player was probably stuck, took everything apart, tried everything, never worked
he told me i had to replace the whole unit (bottom portion)
found one from a junk yard and had him installed. now all fixed

Is250. 2006. Same thing happened to my cd player. It won't read load.. Or eject. 6 disc inside n disc won't come out. It just kept on making noises like disc trying to come out.

...my problem slightly different,... disc 1 and 6 ejected on their own... tried to load a disc, would take it in, then spit it right back out... but would play 2 - 5... so like a dummie... i ejected all of the other discs and now can't load any....
