2012 HeadLight questions....
Iv've noticed they have some used 2012 headlights on ebay for under 500 a peice... is there any paticular reason to stay away from these?
Being that i have the halogen lights now, do they currently sell aftermarket HID to fit these 2012 headlights or is getting the "loaded" version my only option? If so please explain why....

you could just buy a set of 06-10 headlights on ebay that have the ballasts and stuff still in them swap them into sewells kit and then re-sell the barebone 06-10 headlights as well as the ones you have to recoup the money for at least the 2nd set of HID lights. However honestly fully loaded will save you headaches.

^ great suggestion, make sure the ones on ebay is the 2012 and not 2011.
The 2011 housing is flat black and the led is a yellowish output
the 2012 has a glossy black housing and the led output is more white also the lense cover has what has been called the "eyelash" which was supposed to prevent the bubbling defect the 2011 lights had but unfortunately some members with the 2012 lights have gotten the bubbling issue regardless

Someone should tackle a custom fit LED strip inside headlamp.
Something like this:

Save the $1000...

The only problem with that is that the LED are too spaced apart because it is a amber and white LED together. If they chose to have just white LED, it wouldn't be every other LED that turns on.
Like this one. Almost identical to the OEM headlights

Just so you guys know... i wan't going to tell anyone so that i can reap the benefit but realistically with school coming up i wont be moding till this winter..... they have a set of loaded lights fs by i think its orangecountylexus on ebay for 1500. Thats a lot better than what even sewell was offering a few months ago(1800) for the same loaded set during the sale. Hope some one can pick them up they are brand new.
