15-16k this last year of ownership. Its my DD, and I'm not afraid of putting many more on it.

Wife drives it more than I do, as my commute is three times longer than hers. I average around 18,000 a year on the Honda, while the IS only gets around 6,500. Bought it used in 2010 with 72,000 and it currently has 85,000 on it. I would much rather run up miles on a Honda than the IS......

With you on this one. Bought Lexus/Toyota because I put a lot of miles on my cars and want something that isn't in the shop all the time.

I average 22k a year. Keep in mind I don't drink so I am often the DD when going out on the weekends too.
Plus I enjoy driving.
The money I save from not drinking nor smoking cigs basically goes to fuel and maint (that's the way I look at it)

You use the IS when you are the DD and have a bunch of liquored up oafs in the back seat? Good luck but eventually one of them is going to loose their cookies on your upholstery or carpet.

I love to drive too! I just don't want to have to sacrifice any of my day to day lifestyle because of my mileage! I think I'll start driving the Escalade hybrid that hardly ever leaves the driveway! haha

I don't drive to work so it's pretty sad that I actually lose money because the car has low mileage
I don't think you are losing money. Your car with low mileage will hold it's value better in the longterm. You could sell if for thousands more than average.
