Had mine replaced at 56k miles during the carbon build up cleanup because there tech said it was leaking.

I think if your mechanical incline and have proper guide and tools you could probaby do it . But do it on your own risk. I would have let them do it if it was liked 300.

Had mine replaced at ~43,800 miles (last month actually). It was covered under warranty, but I was surprised it failed at such a low mileage. The dealer noticed dried pink coolant during my last service.

haven't had mine replaced and im at 165k....im going to the dealer to have it checked because threads like this make me nervous.....

when i had my 250, i had 99k and had no issues with the water pump..fuel pump went out at like 64k....

So most of us had no clue it needed to be replaced (like me)...

I encourage people to keep responding as it might help out one of our fellow lexus brothers.

I would have no issue sending my Repair order number to the guy who is being blamed for his engine failure over a water pump.

My lexus dealer just told me 600 for parts and labor for water pump and drive belt..

I thought I read somewhere it's covered under warranty/cpo/vsa and is warranteed after it is done.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, I don't know what the heck a water pump look like; is that the same as the coolant tank
