Default Issues with my radio. No volume

My radio turns on and everything else seems to work except for the volume. At first I thought it was on mute but that was not the problem. I cant get any sound of the radio, aux port, or even when I plug in my iPhone via USB. I turned my car off to see if that was the problem, but when I turned it back on I heard a static sound right when the radio turns on and still no volume.

I'm considering taking it to the dealer because I still have my bumper to bumper warranty. I'm just worried that the dealer will give me a hard time for having an aftermarket amp and sub in my trunk.

Any ideas?

I had that problem once, I unplugged the battery and replugged and it worked fine. But, I suggest pulling the fuse maybe a better option

Would you happen to know where the fuse is located? I dont have the manual with me right now.

I scanned the relevant pages from my 06 250 manual.
It looks like it's a "30A" fuse, look at picture attachment #3.

Would the fuse just go out randomly? I drove the car earlier that day and had zero issues...

Thanks the info btw

I was going to say. It would made more sense to use the PDF from Lexus secure? The PDF which I linked is for your 2010 IS!

Anyone else know any other potential issues as to what caused this?

when you turn the **** can you see the volume going up and down but get no sound? Have you ever gotten the oem amp in your trunk wet?

Yes I can see the volume numbers increase up to max with no sound. And no I haven't. The only thing I've done recently is swap trunks with vroomin and I doubt that would cause anything.

i guess this is what warranty is for right...sounds weird.. One time i went to turn down the radio when it was turned up loud and i had no control in the volume it woulldnt go up or down but i was getting sound... I turned the stereo on and off a couple of time and finally was able to turn it down.. This has happened to me twice but it was like 3 years ago and hasnt happened since.. goodluck bob
