Wix filter is cheaper than OEM and just as effective.

When are you supposed to change the filter?

Using Fresh Breeze right now! Picked it up at walmart, seems to be a higher quality than oem..

a lot of the reviews talk about AC smell. on my girlfriends toyota camry, the smell actually comes from having just the fan on with no AC. when AC is on, there is absolutely no smell. would the WIX or farms eliminate the fan smell?

I've used both Fram and Purolator. Can't tell the difference between OE and these two filters. However I think Fram does not give out that sour fragrance smell like the OE did for me. OE gave off a sour smell at start of turning on my AC.

Update - I installed the Fram Fresh Breeze cabin air filter just now. The last time I used a Wix filter. The Wix filter has about 5 times as many pleats as the Fram filter, meaning that the Wix filter has a lot more surface to filter the air with. I will go with the Wix filter next time.
