Default 245/40/18 on stock oem 18...

Would it be ok to run a 245/40/18 on the oem rim instead of the 255/40/18?

The tire would be half an inch shorter and the revs per mile would be slightly increased (809 compared to 799). The speed difference is around 1.3%. So this would indicate that my odometer would read slightly slower than if I were to use the 255/40/18 tire?

I use 245/40/18 snow tires on my rear since I got a great deal on them lol and it would be better since it's narrower.

You'll be going slower than what your speedometer says.
