I understand that you are one to do it on your own I get that but their will be something you might want to know got done check lexus.com you will need the VIN number and it will give you all the service records for that lexus car or truck.

I probably won't do the 350 since I only live 2 miles from work. It's just for dinners out in a dense city. I probably won't ever get above 40mph.

The 2006 sold already :-(. I guess I'm going to try to pick up a 2007 IS250 with 42k mi.
Is edmunds a reliable pricing method? I guess I'll try to get the 07 for $17k. Does anyone think buying from a Lincoln dealership could be a problem?

I think they just went to the dealership and negotiated like mad. Just give them a price and if they don't take it, walk out the door.

Any other suggestions? It's from a lexus dealership, so should I still get it inspected by a mechanic?

... I'm really bad at this...
Until NHSTA acts upon complaints about airbag harness failures, 2006 2007 IS250 (all ISX50) face a $2.5k - $3.5k upgrade. (Warranty period has elapsed.) Some have bad pistons (if not replaced during warranty + $5k) and don"t overlook the exhaust, mid pipe) faoilures (Dealer quoted $2600.00 each. (AWD has 2.)

Take 5-10 minutes to complain if you own one of these cars. Don't pass it on to someone who can't afford a new car.
