How long is the warranty on them? I had chromed ABS mirror and door handle covers on my truck and they started pitting and peeling a little over a year after I bought them. Right after their warranty expired...

well they just stick over the existing handle. what i did was clean the handles with mild soap and water, then applied some adhesive promoter on the car handles where the tape will adhere to. then i peeled off the red protective layer on the new chrome covers and heated the 3m tape with a heatgun untill little bubbles appear and then just place the new overlay pcs over the oem handle and press firmly. these will not come off if u do as i did, because the adhesive promotoer will keep the bond stronger than just sticking it without heating. oh and the warranty says "limited lifetime warranty" but i dont care if they fade or pit, because my car is in a garage 90% of the time i own it.

and at $89 this is a GREAT deal, the LX mod handles dont cover the full handle, and at that price even if they pit a year later you can buy a second set and still have spent less than on the LX mod ones....

Lx-Mode makes two types - full cover and partial. These ebay one's are the full cover. For the price they look amazing.

no it did not! i bought a pint of it on ebay, i use that stuff to adhere all of my lips and spoilers on the car! that stuff will hold forever and when the tape is heated and stuck to it....well lets just say good luck getting it to come off if needed. i see alot of people who just install rear bumper lips without using the adhesive promoter and the lips are comming loose and have huge gaps . when i did my rear bumper spoiler i used the promoter and it has never came off or shows any gaps at all, and neither has any other part that i have installed. it is also great to use the adhesive promoter when installing rain guards. people wont be able to steal them.
