Default access rear passenger door speaker

right rear passenger door speaker is "buzzing" or has a blown sound to it. was replaced a while back at lexus. still doing it. took it back and its past warrenty so the extendid will cover it but lexus wont do it without getting paid first.

f it.

how do i access the rear door speaker. i have searched here and you tube but my search-fu is weak.

Just pop up the window switch panel to access the screw there, and then pop off the cover located where the door is to access the other screw and thats it, the door is held on by tabs so all u have to is carefully pull on it to get it off

What did you mean by "Lexus won't do it without getting paid first"
Pay a deductible? Or pay for the repairs and be reimbursed?

I think he means paying for the speaker and labor because he has no warranty now..

That's what I figured, but then he said:

lexus said they wont fix without getting paid first (called the extended warranty people and they will take care of it). communication mix up with service.

thanks for the answer on accessing the rear speaker.
