Anyone still having issues, are these the part numbers you received? Do you have pictures showing your lights (they should have the all-gloss inside, no flat/matte black.

I have the newest revesion headlights. Glossy paint everywhere with eyebrow at top. Really sucks

I have the TSB set. Eyebrows and glossy inside. The bubbling is on the glossy piece, directly under the projector. This is so frustrating. I'm still trying to get a photo to post.

I sent the high-res photos to Sewell and I am covered for another 10 months under the 1-year warranty. I hope Lexus can fix this before my warranty is up.

This is not the best photo, but will give an idea of the bubbling...

Do only the TSB headlamps have both the glossy inside and eyebrows?

The part number on my Sewell invoice is 81145-53H00.

Maybe it's the photo or the reflections, but I don't see anything in that picture. Where am I looking?

The part number on my Sewell invoice is 81145-53H00.
81145-53H12 replaced 53H00. I'm not sure what the difference is.

There were the original LED headlights with the matte black and no eyebrow (811x5-53540), then the updated ones with the matte black and eyebrow (811x5-53541/811x5-53542: not sure on those 2 part numbers for what's different), and the newest ones are gloss black with eyebrow (811x5-53543/81145-53H12).

I don't know the exact difference between 811x5-53541 and 811x5-53542, or the difference between 81145-53H00 and 81145-53H12 sets.

I know 81145-53H12 is a pair of 811x5-53543, and I know what 811x5-53540 is, but beyond that, there were a lot of choices. Add in IS-F/IS-C headlight part numbers. It gets confusing.

But if there is bubbling on the newest design, that is disappointing. I haven't noticed any issues with mine at all.

Look at the gloss black piece (used to be matte on the old lights). Now look at the top of that gloss piece (the LED strip is at the bottom of that piece, so the opposite end). To the left of the projector you'll see three marks clumped together - an elongated teardrop, a small circle and a larger circle. These three marks are the bubbling.

When I first noticed the bubbling earlier this week, only the teardrop and small circle were there. When I looked the next day, the big circle had appeared. So after only two months it seems to be spreading fast. And in person it is quite noticeable, more than the bubbles on the old matte finish.

I called Lexus customer service last night and had this documented. A specialist is supposed to call me back within 48 hours.

Your bubbling is in the exact same spot that mine is!

A Lexus customer service rep called me today. He wants me to go to my dealer (even though the lights are from Sewell) to have the service manager look at the bubbling and document it. Then an area Lexus rep will talk to the dealer as a first step before reporting this back to the engineers. I then need to call customer service back.

Had the same problem. Air it out in the sun with the gaskets open for a whole day. Make sure you use the new ones provided by sewell.

I just checked my 2012 IS350C and the bubbling has started too, the car is 6.5 months and 11500 miles. The driver side is worse but you can see it on both sides. looks like a trip to the dealer is in order. I will wait on the latest fix however before I let them fix the problem as I have a full new car warranty.
