Its hot in tx.
You guys are lucky in TX! My cousin did the same thing, hired a traffic attorney for (relatively) cheap and got her ticket dismissed in Dallas. They aren't cheap at all in CA... and the ticket's aren't either!!! lol

I have been stopped by a few cops, mostly locals in PA about my tint but I was asked what the blue light was in my car and then sent away with a warning. though there is another car around here that looks just like my car but with aftermarket rims who is apparently wanted for "legal matters" lol.

no one really gets bothered by me unless your show parts are obnoxious or your a wanted felon. speeding and not texting while driving are the biggest issues around here. i drove around for a month with a burnt out headlight bulb and was never stopped.

Nobody has ever really bothered me in south FL for a loud exhaust, loud music, or anything like that. Ive heard from a bunch of other people that nobody will really bother you for tints, I guess I just ran into one of those a-hole troopers

Check this out, explains all the tinting laws by state. UT state here has a pretty tight tint requirement in comparison...

I know the tint law in FL before I got mine done. I willingly got 5% tint. What I'm upset about is that the trooper gave me TWO "violations" instead of one. When I got pulled over I knew it was for the tints.

Mostly state troopers not really pay attention to the car tint, what they focus on speeders, you got watch out for city cops,

even so, i've noticed at least, when you're going 10-12 over you wont get pulled over unless you're weaving in and out of traffic being dangerous.

i've cruised past troopers going 15 over, noticing them in my rear view. i think about hitting my breaks and then i'm just like eff it. so i'm convinced as long as you're not going like 90 in a 65 you're good.

or maybe im just lucky........

Correct. CA laws is simlar if not identical to Canada. People tint anyways.

Well if you want to tint front all go all around without noticing... there is Llumar Air Blue 80 or 3M Crystalline 90.
