I think the people who jack these sell them online as new. When I got a couple of mine jacked, I purchased some caps from a site (non aution site) stating they were new, but when I received mine one of the caps had noticeable brake dust on it.

An IS-F owner had all his wheels jacked right off the car and the thief fenced them off to a pawn shop. Too bad the wheels could be identified through the TPMS sensors.
I was about to say you were lucky he not jacked off all your wheels but person above me already mention it. Maybe the thief also owned a lexus and his missing center caps lol
sorry to hear. Wheels lookin good though. What color are they powder coated?
Thanks guys! He/she was only missing one so they only took one. They actually aren't powder coated but painted like a metallic black by the dealership I bought the car from.
Dude, I think you have an enemy...... Why in the world would someone steal your emblems first then just 1 wheel cap? Maybe it's time to set up a camera in your driveway or a couple in your car to atleast see who is doing this. Do you know any other lexus owners that you roll with or maybe friends of friends that envy your car? This is more annoying then anything and i would hand out a beat down just for principal.
WTF??? That sucks! Maybe you should set up an in car camera to catch the thief. Must be someone who sees your car and is around the area. Kinda brave to do it twice to the same car. But they must be using it for their car since they only stole 1 emblem off of the cap. If they were selling it, they would take all 4....more $$...
I don't see any real monetary gain in just one single center cap. I agree with what the others have said, someone in your neighborhood has to be missing just one center cap or someone has it out for you. Superglue the replacement back on. Good luck.
Probably some dumb kid, used to happen all the time where I used to live, teenage kids would go around ripping whatever they could off cars - just for fun.
