Advice needed - regarding my wheels
I just recently hit a pothole the other day and got a flat tire. Damn Houston roads. I took the tire to Discount Tire, which is amazing, IMO. So they replaced that tire under warranty, the guy found an impact bubble on the driver side tire. My rear tires were very low tread so I reluctantly got all 4 replaced.
It was 650 for everything. I have Michelin A/P sport 225/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear
Now my question is. My rims are in bad shape so I'm wondering if
A) Swap out my rims with 18X8 and 18x9 (Another brand) Does anyone know any inexpensive brands. I like Rohana or Concept 1 or TSW. But I would appreciate suggestions
B) Save up for 19's (Is the ride quality much worse)
c) Sell the rims with new tires (but the rims are in bad shape - scratches
Thank you so much...

I'd save for 19's. Houston is bad (i live in Houston), but 19's (no drop) does not sacrifice any (discernible) quality. 19's with a drop, you just have to be more conservative due to potholes and dips (if theyre aggressive wheels).
Just see if you can avoid lanes, drive more aware and miss bad areas as much as possible, and if so, get some 19's! Also, keep the stockers, not usually worth the 4-500$ since you can always have backup wheels (mine stay in my attic and come in handy between different wheel setups).
Lastly, join "Club Lexus - Houston" on Facebook! (I suspect you may be on it though, someone recently asked about those rims on our FB page).

if you go 19" then the ride will likely be more uncomfortable since you would be running 35-30 profiles tires. If you are already having problems with 18" with 40 profile tires then I really wouldn't recommend you get 19". you can get 40 profile with 19" wheels but it just makes it look bulky and ugly in my opinion.
