Default Question on donut spare

Will using the donut for about 10 miles or so hurt my alignment? Not sure if they are same height as my stock 17"s or not. I know they are narrower.....

it dont think it would PERMANENTLY hurt your alignment. it will only decrease your handling, acceleration and braking. and im assuming you know this but there is a strict speed limitation (see sidewall.) and they were really only designed to get one from the side of the road to the nearest tire replacement location.

you might know this but i for one have seen dozens and dozens of people ride on those things like they were normal wheels/tires (ie- at/above highways speeds, riding on them for weeks, etc)

You can, just to move the car for VERY short distances, but for sure do not drive it far. Whats worst is your car is AWD, just having that 1 completely off sized wheel is stressful for your differential.

Call for a flatbed tow truck to tow the car. You don't want the simple tire repair to turn into something more expensive just because you don't want to pay for a tow truck. Good luck!

As long as you don't exceed 50 mph on donut you should be fine.

Nope, not even a stock wheel fits in the space. I usually keep just the spare unless I go on a long trip then I put one of my front stocks in the trunk just in case.

ive always considered the thought of cutting out the recess for the stock spare and having someone weld in a larger recess to fit a larger sized spare.
