Default LED Running / Fog Lights Install Question

Trying to replace my factory halogens with IJDM LED daytime running lights and Fog Lights. I received two [obvious] resistors for the fog lights and 2 that are designed for the daytime running/high beam lights.

Neither the high-beam [nor the running light function] are operating. The fog lighst don't work either. I tried without the resistors, still to no avail.

I do hear a loud clicking noise when I try to switch on/off the high beams/ that I haven't 'noticed' before.

Any ideas?

I would check the fuse for the drl/high beam fuse in the fuse box on the right side inside your engine compartment. That happened to after I first installed my LED bulbs.

Ok, here's an update...

I was running out of ideas, so I decided to disconnect the negative battery terminal, to see if this was some sort of computer thing that required a reset. At the same time, I put the halogen bulb back in the high-beam sockets to see if it was the LED components or something in the car.

Result: Fog-lights decided to start working. High beams do not work with or without LED / OEM Halogen bulbs.

I just had my install done, and my fogs werent working

was going to take it in to get checked, until I found that switch you turn on, the headlight switch, and that's what controls my fogs now

Dont know if maybe you should try that

Did you have an issue with the high-beams or just the fog lights? My fogs are working now

my issue was that my high's and lows worked, however the fogs did not

but since your fogs are working, you dont have the same issue as I

Have you tried contacting iJDM to resolve the issue?

If the bulb is very dim, then you're not getting enough voltage to the bulbs or faulty modules/bulbs. You can try hitting your high beams to see if the DRL lights up fully. This should get the full 12 volts to the bulb and you should see it brighten up. But only do it briefly if you're going to try this. Otherwise, get a volt meter and measure the voltage at the plug. Should be about 5 volts normal and 12 volts when hitting the high beams.

DRLs run at about 5 volts but the bulbs are designed to run at this low voltage. The modules are used to fix the flickering commonly associated with LEDs on the DRLs.
