Default 09 AUX Input not working.

'09 250 AWD

Hopefully someone can direct me in the proper direction. My AUX port has worked flawlessly, until recently and it just stopped completely. When i press the CD/AUX button, the only response i get is NO CD. I used to be able to cycle through inputs, until AUX showed up. Now it does not. I replaced my AUX cable, still no go. I read in another post where another member was able to manipulate the port by turning onto FM, then turning the car off, then plugging the iphone in when the car was off, then switching to AUX. Also, did not work.

Is there a fuse specifically for the AUX port that i can possibly replace? Has anyone had a similar problem? How did you fix?

Thanks

I have had a problem on the aux Port aswell. On my situation there was a little piece of the axu cord that got stuck inside. Check the aux cord you were using and compare both sides! Hope it helps

Ditto. I bought the car like that not knowing and had to remove a piece of a new cord to just play music but it only plays on the passenger side.

Default Aux Port Inop

If it is an '09, isn't the car still under warranty? If so, why not have Lexus fix it?

Default same thing happened to me!

I just recently bought a car and when I try to put the 3.5mm auxiliary cable into the AUX port it got stuck half way. I took it to lexus service department and they said my AUX could either be broken OR something got stuck in there. I asked them how much it cost and they said if something got stuck in there then they have to open it up to see if they can take it out. That will cost approximately $150- $250. IF the AUX port is broken then I have to get it replaced, the part itself cost $125, the installation cost approximately $200-$250, so total of $325-$375.....

Is there any other way I can get the piece thing inside the AUX port so it won't be stuck anymore? O_O

PLEASE HELP ME!?! I spent so much money on buying the es350 already and I realllly can't afford spending another $325-$375 on the AUX problem.

btw, I bought this car used so no more warranty since it's around 67k mileage.
