IS x50's VS x50 F-Sports?
#16
This is what I've come up with in comparing a standard IS250 and a IS250 with the F-Sport package:
Special F Sport heated front seats feature a special microfiber inserts and leather side bolsters
Upgraded steering wheel with F-Sport badging
Upgraded shift **** with F-Sport badging
Doorsill scuff plates with F Sport badging
Upgraded front lip spoiler
Upgraded rear deck spoiler
Dark-chrome front grille insert
F-Sport fender badges
Upgraded springs
Upgraded struts
Upgraded sway bars
Upgraded steering tuning (steering ECU)
Unique 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark super-chrome finish
IS350 rear rotors on IS250
Ultrasonic Blue color option
There are no power improvements sadly but there is improved handling which was a big factor on why I went with the F-Sport package.

Few corrections
- About the F-Sport, for the ****, it's just a perforated one, it does not have F-Sport badging; you have to get the F-Sport accessory **** for that.
- Springs and shock (not strut) is the factory sport
- Does not have sway bars
- F-Sport Grille which is from the IS-F; not dark-chrome front grille insert

Just to clarify my statements....
The shift **** on a standard IS250 is a non-perforated ****. The perforated **** comes with the premium and luxury plus package as well as the F-Sport package.
You are correct that the springs are sport package items. Also, Lexus calls the shock both a shock and strut in their parts catalog and are also sport package items. I used strut.
Lexus also uses sway bar or torsion bar to identify the stabilizer bar in their parts catalog. I used sway bar. Front and rear sway bars are upgraded from the standard IS250.
I'm just quoting Lexus when I use the term "dark-chrome front grille insert".
"A rose by any other name..."
Also, I forgot to add Silver metallic interior trim and Aluminum sport pedals.
My post was just to clarify that the F-Sport package is more than just badges as some would believe.

Sewell show several *****, including the black non-perf, black perf shown in a F-Sport package interior, the F-Sport w/blue stitching, and a few others.

I've actually added the F-Sport **** w/ blue stitching as well as the flat bottom CF steering wheel w/blue stitching. I also replaced the silver trim with carbon fiber and got my F-Sport mats bound in blue piping. I like the hint of blue with my TP IS250.

All in good fun.

Man I wish in that video he posted track times, im sure it would have been very interesting to see. Good information though by everyone who posted. It was always a ponder of mine, if the F-Sport was any faster than the stock package. Im sure at the track it would come down to reaction time and shifts, would be good to see the dyno's for F-Sport against the stock x50's. Speaking of track...KRAZYYY night yesterday here in Orlando whew!!

doubt the 0-60 numbers are better...
the suspension is stiffer.... i saw a video on here few days ago where they had a professional driver compare the two and he confirmed that the f sport package is in fact faster on the track because of the upgraded suspension. I got my F-Sport package to be a little different
