Default Stretching tires question.

I tried searching but didnt come up with anything. Probably not using the correct key words.

I used to have an Infiniti FX35. I changed my wheels to a staggered set up and one time i changed the rear tires to a meatier tire.

Soon as i had them installed and coming out of the garage I get 3 lights. Traction Control, ABS, and VSC light.

I was wondering does this happen to the IS as well?

I see a lot of guys stretching tires and I do not know how to calculate the diameter of the wheel once the tire is stretched so I am wondering if anyone has experienced this in the IS. I do have a set of rims 19x9 F and 19x10 R +26. My tire sizes are 225 and 245/35 tire. After calculating the sizes using an online calculator none of the measurements match.

How do you guys figure this out when stretching tires?

This is my first set I have ever stretched.

Thank you

None of my lights came on when I changed wheels and tires. The only time my "check headlights" came on was when I lowered my car with coilovers.

Check out the "Will these wheels fit" or "aggressive wheel fitment" thread Lots of good info.

Cant tell you hows its been calculated due to it was done thru trial and error over decades of car guys modding their cars. BUT i can tell you that 225/35's will fit your front and 245/35's will fit your rear and it will be fine with your offsets.

On RWD doesn't matter on an AWD it matter alot on the tire size you choose that can cause your rear diff to break.

Thanks. I appreciate your responses. Anyone have a shot of a rear tire with 245/35 on a 19x10 rim lowered on tein springs? I've been only able to see people on coils and kind of regretting not getting those instead. I'm a little weary of the gap it might leave
