I actually asked Lexus about that same question about using 0W-20 for the 07 IS. They don't recommend that even thou it is the same engine.
Maybe the gasket and stuff are designed to be used with the thicker oil. Using the thinner oil maybe too thin that it may leak.

I get my oil changed at Lexus, I just bring them my Amsoil 0W-20.

You said you changed tires last wk? go make sure you have the proper psi in them, do not trust the tire shop~ check everything yourself, tire pressure/torque on the nuts EVEN the directionality of the tires...trust noone.

I buy the oil and filter separately and then have the dealership do the labor so it shows up in the Lexus records (better resale value).
