Default Help odomoeter cluster lights fading..

2007 IS350 93K - Yesterday I noticed that the needle on the odometer side flashing at the tip, now it's just darker at the tip and lights on at the top. The opposite side of the odometer has a similar issue but not as bad... I looked it up, something to do with the entire cluster? Any recommendations or fixes? Thanks, new to this, be patient don't know much about cars...

I had a similar problem and the whole cluster was replaced under warranty (kinda a waste). There is a DIY on how to fix these by soldering on new LEDs. Someone was doing it for free or minimal cost for members here.

Yeah, your LED is going out. It's a common problem and if you bring it to the dealer if you have a warranty still, they'll give you a new cluster. Otherwise, you can solder in new LEDs but it isn't easy. I was able to change the color of my needles many times myself though. I also sort of made a DIY a while ago.

Hit up Taninauto on the forum. They can change out the lights if you ship it to them for a decent price
