Looking to buy these for a glacier frost mica IS. Not sure if I should go with matte gunmetal or hyper black. Anyone get a chance to checkout both in person? Not sure what color to go with.

Default Quality updates?

I'm due to replace the tires on my stock rims. So I'm contemplating on whether to get these rims in 19" and a new set of tires. But I'm curious to know how these reps are holding up as far as durability goes. I've read one post so far of someone having hairline crack on 2 wheels. Anyone else have issues? Or none issues for that matter?..

I have 19" set and been using it on my car for about 2 years, 15,000+ miles with no problems Thanks G-d. Get this offset F: 38, R: 40 not 45, and get tires 225/35-19 and 255-35-19. I have 235/35-19 and 275/30-19 front ones were rubbing on corners.

I've had a set of these in 18's since December and they've been great.

Is your ride stock height? If not, how much was it lowered? Any fender rolling? Ive been rim searching and these so far are the front runners.

Looking into the gunmetal color.

All stock, it is know problem with front tires. U can easily fix it with a heat gun. 225/35/19 should not rub.

Do you have stock sport or non-sport?

I had 2 sets of these on my SC430. First set a wheel bent. Replaced with a new set and less than a year into it, the front driver side has a hairline crack identical to yours. I'm searching for OEMs because of the experience. Seems like the OEMs very rarely get these problems. I would buy them, but with the understood expectation that you'll only have them on the car temporarily as you'd need to change them down the road because of integrity issues.

I know this thread is a little old.
I'm thinking of jumping on these for my GS.

With two members reporting issues with quality, i'm second guessing myself.

My Choice B is possibly some TireRack sub $200 wheels. Although I like the looks of these i do worry about a bad cast or bad batch.

I will be running these in 18"x8" w/ 245/40/R18

Anyone else want to chime in on your experience/ long term durability with these replicas?

How long have you had these in Mileage? anyone have over 36K on these and are still in one piece?

Any cracks? Peeling? Corrosion?

Always thankful to our clublexus board members for their valuable feedback.
