I just got back from a road trip in the UK. I rented a Vauxhall Insignia (Buick Regal) which had a 4 cyl 2.0L diesel engine and 6 speed manual. Diesel was £1.479/L which is US$8.90/US gal! The 60L tank cost me about US$140! At least the diesel engine got about 40 mpg (US gallon)

3.59-3.79 bp/sunoco/lukoil/shell for 93........i visited israel few months ago...its 8bucks a gallon there for 85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
