lexus is 350 tires
ive been through my fair share of tires on my is 350
pzeros, potenzas etc etc. im sick of the camber wear but unfortunetly its time to get another set of tires. Im looking to spend around 800 for a set of tires . ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS BASED ON THEIR EXPERIENCES. i do a lot of hard driving and probably leaning towards summer tires vs all season since they perform much better

I had Eagle GT's on mine, a very good tire but didn't last long!
Now I have Conti DWS, very long lasting tire, but lost some performance!
The best summer tire I have personally owned is Pilot Super Sport on my BMW. That was a nice tire! Lasted about 25K though.

If $ were no object the Pilot Super Sports.

And unless you're lowered a lot it's toe (and/or underinflation), not camber, that's killing you. Find a decent alignment shop and fix it.

hankook v12 for performance but it gets colder than fifty the tires dont grip that well! 
(its fun to go sideways occasionally)
for all season continental dws ftw.
go to a performance shop that does alignment and ask them to do the alignment for better wear on the tire and they will adjust it. most shops now will just make the lights on the alignment monitor turn green and thats it. so spend the extra $20-40 bucks for a good alignment. the car may not corner as well when you remove some of the toe on the car but its worth it for me. are cars dont have camber adjustment in the rear so there is no way to get around it without buying the megan camber kit.
i have v12's on my car for about 15,000 miles and i still have another couple thousand miles left which isnt bad for a tire rated at 20k treadwear. but im going back to my continental dws tires they last twice as long.

I'm at about 14k on mine (hankook V12s) and they still look to be in great shape... I'm running 38 psi front and 40 psi rear FWIW
I agree you wanna be careful in cold, but I'd probably rate it like this:
below 25- don't drive if you can avoid it (and it's very rare it's that cold here anyway, and it's usually 3-4 am if it is)
25-35: drive if you need to, but drive like grandma
35-45: driving is fine here as long as you're not trying to take 45 mph curves at 70.
above 45- go nuts.
(and the above is generally true for all summer tires, not just the V12s)

I'm at ~25k on my current set of V12's and I will be buying them again. Great performance tire for the money. Seems like you need to get your toe fixed as soon as you get your new tires though.

You should also look into the Sumitomo HTR Z III. They're cheaper and rated better than the hankooks. Plus they don't have soft side wall like the hankooks

thanks guys i talked to several different sources today.
what i have concluded is that the v12s will not last as long as the summer performance tires in its range.
im leaning towards possibly going all season route as bridgestone has realeased their new 970s for 2012
however i am still looking into other options and still completely undecided

If you are looking for long life, a UTQG: treadwear rating should be at least 300.
I purchased: Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport (Ultra High Performance Summer) they have a rating of 340 and should last about three times the mileage of my factory Potenza tires that were only rated 140.

Im sorry, but im going to have to strongly disagree. Yes hankooks have soft side walls, and the Z III will last longer than the v12, but I hated my set of Z III with a passion. It was extremely easy for me to break loose with them and I did not feel as confident in the rain as advertised. I was able to get 24k out of the Z III and could have gotten a little more but I opted to get new tires because i just hated the way the tires handle.
Ride comfort is the same for both tires, but I just found the Z III a much poorer performer
