Default DDM wires to oem foglight connector?

I just got my kit in today and was curious on the red&black wires that go into the oem fog light plug. So all you do is push them in like this? Do I need to worry about water splashing up on this connector?

(borrowed this from a foglight install thread)

Make sure everything is working okay and then wrap with electrical tape for a little extra security and you're good to go

I would buy a male connector so that it can connect together properly, but taping it up should work well enough.

Where would I get a male connector to fit the oem one?
If I were to cut and mate a male adapter to the DDM kit would it prob void their warranty?

I bought a male connector from a seller on eBay (SparkHID.com), there are other sources as well. They're pretty cheap to get.

As for warranty, that's something I think you'd have to talk to DDM about.

the ddm kit for the foglight for our cars are reverse polarized so if they dont work then flip the connector around.ive been riding around with ddm hid fogs for acouple of years with no water problems with "ghetto electical tape"

um the red rubber garmet on the hid kit? for some reason it wouldnt fit into the 2011 f sport bumper with it on so i took it off and the bulb fit in but as for the connector i brought form ijdmtoy the 9006 to h11 convertor and it was like 8 bucks i think and i just used electrical tape to make sure water wont get in any leaks
