Default Right HID Fog Is Out

I have a problem with my HID Fog Kit and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered. I have searched and it seems like most people have had flickering and both go out but not just one side.

I ordered DDM 35 W Slim Ballast kit and installed it last summer. That kit lasted until about a month ago when the right side when out. I checked the fuses and the bulb and ballast and it seemed like that ballast was bad, so I ordered the same exact set from DDM. Now the new set has been in for about 2 weeks and I noticed last night the right side on the new set is out again!

Has anyone encountered a problem like this? Do the fogs run on separate fuses? I am just confused if I am missing something when trouble shooting. This weekend I am going to try and switch ballast and bulbs to see if I could locate the issue. If anyone has had this problem please let me know because I am just becoming frustrated with this. Thanks!

Their kits are lifetime warranty. Send your old set back in for an exchange

Sometimes you might have to turn your lights on/off 3-4 times for it to come on. Weird, i know.

Do you have a relay kit? Also, have you switched the ballast/igniter/bulb from one side to another to troubleshoot?

bringing this thread back

This happens to me. I got the Phillips 6000k HID conversion kit,
my right side (if the set to automatic w the fogs on), most of the time doesnt turn on
If i manually turn on the headlights or parking lights and then turn on the fog light that sometimes works. but essentially its a pain in the ***,

does anyone know why this happens? or how to fix it?

You probably need a harness to hook it in because it's not getting enough power.

I too am using the Philips Ultinon conversion kit however don't have issues with it and I use these with the auto setting with the headlights.

would a relay harness really solve the issue?

Did u use a harness with ur phillips?

yesterday, both lights stopped working, and then when id turn it on and off the right one came one alone. lol very wierd.

It probably could be of some help who are experiencing issues. I am not using a harness.

I believe XenonDepot has them. Might want to IM him since he's a CL vendor.
