There is currently no link of the exact one I am getting. The CREE + SMD's itself are made in Japan and assembled in US. These are customized for certain cars specfically so they are not your typical one works for all.

Sango, can you start a thread on those Cree bulbs once you receive them?
I will create a new thread once I get them. Looking at the tracking number, it is currently on delivery as it was sorted out at local mail facility almost an hour ago.

Opps sorry, looking like I there was miss-communication about the hyper-flash. These ones will hyper-flash as well except I was also given two resistors (right and left) which will solve the problem.

Since I was getting lights for 2011 Mercedes B200 Turbo, it has a built-in resistor to not hyper flash; it's not a CREE LED.

Just curious, where did you get yours from? Are they CREE? Also what is the lumens rating on them because wattage does not determine how what their output is.

I think their output is about 700-800 lumens. These are not CREE's and I didn't choose CREEs since I thought it'd be pointless. I plan to upgrade to IS-F tails and wouldn't want to blind whoever is behind me since the CREE points straight out right into the driver on the left side. Also, the front bulbs point upward and my headlight housing is blacked out, even in the turn signals so it will emit light to the top but not reflect enough back. The ones I have are 360 degrees. The LED bulbs are brighter than stock even though the stock bulbs are white while my LED bulbs are red.

Are you sure it's that high? Rough calculation, of current lumens SMD chips don't add up to that high for that kind of size bulb. I do know that going all LED will be bright and balanced, but its usable output (lumens) would be less than stock.

I'll have my CREE installed tomorrow from Lexus as I will have my headlamps changed as the ginny pig so see how they work out. I may have plans to test a slightly differnet solution which has rectangular side firing LEDs including a forward firing like CREE.

Also since the 07 and 11 cars are around, they have slightly differnet housing so they will look differently.

Oh solution, don't upgrade ahhaha! j/k

Yup, thing about the bulbs I bought is that I don't think they are SMD. I've never seen bulbs like these before. I was originally going to do the 18 5050-SMD bulbs that are flooded on eBay but after dealing with so many LEDs, I just know they were going to be dim compared to stock. I'll take pictures of my current LED bulbs and a video of them versus the stock bulbs tomorrow before going to school.

I tried the 18 5050-SMD before!! Wow, too dark!! It was like, you gotta be kidding me... I returned those after a minute of testing.

I saw these.

I'm not sure are that might brighter either - the video they show seems to have it look like it's really bright.

A side note, amber/red is hard to make bright so in compared to a white/blue led of the same chip, white/blue have the advantage in terms of lumens.

I might consider getting white CREEs.

To update this thread, the long 1st signal and parking light confirmation issues have been resolved with the new LED flasher available at vleds.com. Although it stung a bit to pay 3x what I paid for the old LED flasher, everything works well now. I am using white 96 SMD bulbs in the rear and they are bright even during the day. Next project will be to replace the front turn signals to LED.

Great rsg,

I spoke with VLED as well. Make sure the one ordered the is "CF18-04-LEXUS". I recently gotten the "CF18-04", and this is the incorrect one as everything else works except it has 1st long flash. Good thing is that the rep said I can order the CF18-04-LEXUS and return the CF18-04 as RMA.
