My car did the same thing a couple of times after turning it off. I replaced the key fob battery and it didn't show again. Chances are its the key fob battery.

I would have the car battery checked also. Check your owners manual for the meaning of the dash light.

I don't understand this new car's thecnology.
I have never had any low battery warning lights. I have replaced my key battery twice and after the last recall, I was told that my battery was low. Months later while my car was in the shop, my battery got really exhausted and I till drove around but one day the battery really gave up. NEVER SAW ANY LOW BATTERY WARNING!!!

No, I only wish it was that simple.

The warning light on cluster showed "Low Battery". And warning light went on as soon as I press stop / put gear in park.

Going to replace key battery this week. I'll update you guys.

eBay, radio shack, and electronics store should have them.

$50? Wow. When I go to the dealership I go to, they change it for free.

Sewell has them for about $3, but shipping adds about $10, so its only worth it if your ordering other stuff from Sewell as well lol

You can probably find them cheap on eBay if you don't need anything else from Sewell.
