The side mount bulb really limits beam width.

I can't bring myself to drill a hole in the back of the housing though.

Yeah, it would've been nice to not have to deal with that but it was definitely worth it over my factory halogens or plug and play kit.

clean job

You should definitely retrofit your old set and sell it; we all know how bad our stock headlights are, and I want a new set too

Yeah I'm thinking about it. Just don't want to spend the extra $400 on the materials. Id have to sell them for around $600 just to break even, and that's not even getting paid for my 8+ hours of labor.

I wish I was able to do it myself. Maybe if there was a DIY I would consider it. Someone make a DIY, please

I used b16da9's thread. He helped me through it a little too, great guy! You really have to just get in and figure it out haha. I spent a lot of time on hidplanet.com researching as well.

The worst part was cutting the hole in the back... Wish there was a way around that part but unfortunately the projector is just too long. It's alright... I have no leaks and you can't see any of that or anything so were good!

The factory projectors are the side mount. The Tsx are the rear mount which is why I had to cut the back.

Yeah but definitely worth it for those with halogen. If I had oem HId and AFS I wouldn't have done it. But if i did oem without AFS I wouldn't have been happy with the lack of width. These light up everything. I'm gonna take a better pic of the width soon.
